Professional Development Online Courses |

| We have a new group of short courses which
are available online every day, 24 hours a day. They provide a wide range
of computer and management skills, and you can purchase access to each course
for up to six months to give you ample time to learn and review the material.
Unless otherwise stated, refunds for online noncredit courses are permitted
only during the first 14 calendar days after you register. A $25 processing
fee per course will be withheld from refunds. Currently we offer two levels of project management certification. All courses may be taken over the Internet/online with WebCT. Colorado State University Educational Outreach and Denver Center are PMIŽ Global Registered Education Providers. The PMI Registered Education Provider program enhances the ongoing professional development of PMI Members, Project Management Professional (PMPs), and other project management stakeholders by identifying providers of appropriate project management learning activities and products. Project Management Certification Online Learn practical, fundamental project management skills that you can immediately put to use. The program offers "one-on-one" interaction with an instructor, lectures, slides and reading assignments. At the end of each topic, you take an examination to measure your learning. Upon successful completion of all course assignments and receipt of a passing grade on the final exams, Colorado State University will certify you as a Project Manager. Additionally, The American Council on Education (ACE) has recommended these courses for graduate credit. If you are enrolled in a graduate program, please contact your academic adviser regarding this program. You can receive a certificate in project or program management, and you may also earn graduate credits. Registration and payment for these courses can be found online at http://www.4pm.com/csu/ Advanced Project Management Certification Online In these four high-level courses, you learn advanced project management tools, techniques and methodologies to aid you in successfully managing multiple and strategic projects. Each provides one-on-one interaction with the instructor and requires 40-50 hours for reading, case studies and homework assignments. Your expert Internet instructor provides feedback on questions and assignments within 24 hours. We also offer an online chat room for participants earning their certification online and instructors to discuss project management issues. You receive access to an online classroom as well as a WebCD that allows you to play lectures and movies without connecting to the Internet. The WebCD is also your ongoing reference source to the material long after you complete the course.
