Grades
In general A, B, C and D are passing; F is
failure; and, at some institutions, W is withdrawal. At CU-Boulder and
Colorado State, plus and minus grades are recorded and credit points are calculated
accordingly.
You may take a credit course from CU-Boulder on a pass/fail basis according
to the following guidelines:
(1) you must exercise the option within 40 calendar days of your registration;
(2) if you are enrolled in a degree program at CU-Boulder, only a limited
number of hours may be taken pass/fail and you may not use pass/fail to
satisfy major requirements or Arts and Sciences Core Curriculum requirements;
and
(3) you are encouraged to check with your college or school to ensure that
credit earned pass/fail can be applied to your degree program. ASC offers
MATH 095 and MATH 099 on a pass/fail basis only. At MSCD, if you do not
complete a class, you receive an N/C.
